Snowed in!

This was the view that greeted me this morning when I opened the curtains!

So no ringing for a short while to allow the birds to feed in peace.

  1. Why you don't like the snow :?:D Here in Bulgaria the snow means more birds :)

  2. :-) I love the snow - just thought I would leave the birds to feed instead of disturbing them :-)

  3. What kind of seeds do you use :?

  4. I use sunflower hearts and nijer seeds - Goldfinch and Siskins seem to prefer the niger seeds. Also feed peanuts and bird suet blocks. Nice Hawfinch on your blog!! :-)

  8. None, unfortunately. I don't live anywhere near the right habitat for them. We know of a site further North where they come to feeding stations - we're hoping to try there one day!
